KFL&A Public Health programs and services have an influential role in maintaining and improving the overall health of our community each day. We are often working in the background unnoticed as people go about their daily routines. Have you ever:
- had your well-water tested to ensure it is safe drinking water?
- attended a prenatal class during your pregnancy?
- decided it was time to quit smoking and sought available free support?
- wondered who ensures that your favourite restaurant or bar serves safe food?
- helped your child develop communication skills to help improve their growth and development?
- visited a public beach or pool and wondered if the water is safe to swim in?
- received an immunization at school?
Our agency is comprised of helping professionals, from various backgrounds, who work together to make these and more programs and services available to the Kingston, Frontenac, and Lennox & Addington communities.
