KFL&A Public Health works to protect you from diseases and injuries related to the environments where you live, work and play.
Inspection results are available for food premises, public swimming pools and spas, and personal services settings (which include but are not limited to tattooing, body and ear piercing, aesthetics, hair styling and barber shops) within the KFL&A area.
KFL&A Public Health inspects premises for regulatory compliance and health hazards. If a health hazard is noted during an inspection, immediate action is taken to correct the situation. Premises that have major regulatory non-compliance issues such as refrigeration, equipment, or garbage problems will be re-inspected to ensure the required corrective action has been taken. Minor regulatory non-compliance issues such as small cleaning or repair problems will be reassessed during the next routine inspection.
