KFL&A Public Health is a local public health agency with over 200 staff and 150 volunteers who deliver public health programs and services to the people of the KFL&A area. There is an immediate opening for a Program Manager, COVID-19. The Program Manager will be responsible for planning, leading, organizing, and managing a COVID-19 unit in addition to specific public health programs and services in consultation with the Program Director. The successful candidate will have a Bachelor of Science – Environmental Health or equivalent OR Bachelor of Nursing which includes public health nursing preparation, current certificate in Public Health Inspection (Canada) OR Registration and membership in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario and have a minimum of 3 years previous professional experience in public health or a related field coupled with experience in a leadership role at an organizational level. A Master’s degree in a relevant field of study and management experience preferred. Registered Practical Nurse - full-time term (6 months) |
KFL&A Public Health is a local public health agency with over 200 staff and 150 volunteers who deliver public health programs and services to the people of the KFL&A area. There is an immediate opening for a Registered Practical Nurse, Infectious Disease Prevention and Environmental Health, Vaccine Preventable Disease. The Registered Practical Nurse will provide clinical services to specified Ontario Public Health Standards within public health and participate in the planning, implementation and evaluation of activities within Vaccine Preventable Disease. The successful candidate will have a Registered Practical Nursing Diploma, completion of the Registered Practical Nurse Administration of Medication Course, be eligible for registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario and have experience administering intramuscular and subcutaneous injections.
