Employment and volunteering

As of January 1, 2025, Southeast Public Health (SEPH) is a newly merged entity of three legacy public health units, each with its own collective agreement. This may result in similar job postings appearing at different locations or with varying compensation rates.
We appreciate your understanding as we work toward a unified structure.
Employment opportunities
Effective December 1, 2025 employment opportunities for Southeast Public Health will no longer be published to this website. For new employment opportunities, please visit the Southeast Public Health Careers page.
Volunteer opportunities
Volunteer opportunities vary by time of year and type of event. We offer volunteers a range of opportunities in the following areas:
- General support volunteers assist with various health promotion and health protection special events and projects. Volunteers may assist agency teams with internal requests and odd jobs, such as replenishing supplies, putting together resources packages, providing activity support or monitoring the safety of event participants.
KFL&A Public Health volunteers are an important part of a dedicated team working towards better health. We welcome and encourage applications from people with disabilities. Accommodations are available upon request for candidates taking part in all aspects of the application process.
Applications are kept on file in volunteer resources for a period of six months.
We thank you for your interest in our volunteer programs.
