Routine immunization updates
If your child received an immunization letter from KFL&A Public Health, it means we are missing some important information and need your help to update their records:
- Check with your health care provider to ensure all of your child's vaccines are up to date.
- If your child is overdue for immunizations required for school under the Immunization of School Pupils Act (ISPA), please book an appointment with your health care provider.
- In Ontario, health care providers do not automatically report immunizations to their local public health agency.
- Parents and guardians must report all children's immunizations to KFL&A Public Health.
- If you do not have access to a health care provider, or your child requires the Meningococcal vaccine (Meningococcal-C-ACYW-135) book an appointment at one of the KFL&A Public Health routine immunization clinics listed below.

Where to get your flu shot
- KFL&A Public health will hold flu vaccine clinics beginning in November for those under 2 years of age, and who do not have a health care provider, and their household members.
- Your health care provider

- Pharmacies can give flu shots to those with or without an Ontario Health Insurance Plan (OHIP) card. Check with your local pharmacy to see if they will give you your flu vaccine.
