Our school dental screening results from last year show that 40% of children in senior kindergarten have experienced tooth decay. This is an increase of 60% since 2019.
Tooth decay is painful and can lead to serious infection if left untreated.
Did you know that in Ontario, it's important for parents and guardians to report their child's immunizations to KFL&A Public Health? Health care providers don't automatically report immunizations to the local public health agency, but don't worry, it's easy to do and helps keep records up to date according to the Immunization of School Pupils Act standards.
Stay on top of your child's health and make sure their immunization records are up-to-date by reporting today!
