Today, Dr. Piotr Oglaza, Medical Officer of Health at KFL&A Public Health confirms a COVID-19 positive case travelled on Kingston Transit bus routes.

  • Wednesday, November 10: Express Route 701 departing Division St./Kirkpatrick St. at 6:05 a.m. until arriving at the Frontenac Mall at 6:30 a.m.
  • Thursday, November 11: Route 7 departing the Cataraqui Centre at 4:00 p.m. until arriving at Elliott Ave. at 4:20 p.m.

On Saturday, November 13, 2021, with the combined efforts of the Sheriff of Frontenac County, Kingston Police Force and KFL&A Public Health, the closure requirement in the Superior Court of Justice order for J.A.K.K. Tuesdays Sports Pub was executed.

Today, Dr. Piotr Oglaza, Medical Officer of Health at KFL&A Public Health confirms a COVID-19 positive case at Trinity Social, 424 Princess St., Kingston. 

KFL&A Public Health recommends that individuals who attended Trinity Social on Saturday, November 6 from 9:15 p.m. to Sunday, November 7 at 1:00 a.m. to self-monitor for symptoms for 10 days.

KFL&A Public Health also recommend that individuals affected by this exposure get tested on or after seven days from the exposure date (November 13, 2021). 

KFL&A's First Dose Vaccination Rate Reaches 90% Milestone

Kingston – Today marks a significant milestone in our local vaccine roll out. With the tremendous support of multiple stakeholders and partners working together to administer vaccines, KFL&A Public Health is pleased and grateful to share that 90 per cent of the eligible KFL&A population has received at least one dose of COVID-19 vaccine, while 86.6% per cent has had two doses. In total, the number of vaccines administered has surpassed 338,000 doses in the KFL&A region.

Kingston – Today, Dr. Piotr Oglaza, Medical Officer of Health at KFL&A Public Health confirms a COVID-19 positive case travelled on Kingston Transit bus route 501.

  • Monday, November 1: Route 501 departing Cataraqui Centre Transfer point at 2:00 p.m. until arriving at Princess Street (south side) at the Kingston Centre at 2:15 p.m.

KFL&A Public Health is unable to identify all riders on these routes and is issuing a public notice to assist with contact tracing.
