The Kingston, Frontenac, Lennox and Addington region is experiencing a rise in COVID-19 cases in several clusters across the City of Kingston. Ongoing investigations by KFL&A Public Health revealtransmission is occurring during close, unprotected contact between individuals in social settings where physical distancing is limited, and face coverings are not being worn.

Today, Dr. Piotr Oglaza, Medical Officer of Health at KFL&A Public Health confirms several COVID-19 positive cases at The Spot Nightclub, 155 Division St., Kingston. 

KFL&A Public Health recommends that individuals who attended The Spot Nightclub on:

  • October 29, from 10 p.m. to October 30, 3 a.m.
  • October 30, from 10 p.m. to October 31, 3 a.m.

Confirmed COVID-19 Positive Case Travelled on Kingston Transit

Kingston – Today, Dr. Piotr Oglaza, Medical Officer of Health at KFL&A Public Health confirms a COVID-19 positive case travelled on Kingston Transit bus route 501.

  • Monday, November 1: Route 501 departing Cataraqui Centre Transfer point at 2:00 p.m. until arriving at Princess Street (south side) at the Kingston Centre at 2:15 p.m.

KFL&A Public Health is unable to identify all riders on these routes and is issuing a public notice to assist with contact tracing.

During National Radon Action Month, KFL&A Public Health is encouraging all residents to test their homes for radon.
