The schedule for some KFL&A Public Health programs and services will be modified over the next couple of weeks owing to the holiday season.

KINGSTON—The KFL&A Public Health’s main office in Kingston (221 Portsmouth Avenue) will be closed as of 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 11, 2019, and is scheduled to re-open tomorrow, Thursday, December 12, 2019 at 8:30 a.m.

KFL&A Public Health’s offices in Napanee (99 Advanced Avenue), Sharbot Lake (1130 Elizabeth Street), and Cloyne (14209 Highway 41) remain open.

19th Annual Jingle Bell Run

What: More than 15,000 students and staff from 60 schools in Kingston, Frontenac, Lennox and Addington (KFL&A) will take part in the 19th annual Jingle Bell Run. KFL&A Public Health and City of Kingston Test Social Housing Units for Radon

On November 11, KFL&A Public Health and the City of Kingston Housing & Social Services Department with support from Health Canada, began sampling radon levels in basement and ground-level social housing units in the City of Kingston and Frontenac County.

Starting November 1, KFL&A Public Health will be selling certified radon tests for $20. Get Immunized Against Influenza

Kingston – The sooner that a person is immunized against influenza, the sooner they are protected from this contagious and potentially dangerous illness. It is also important to get immunized to protect vulnerable people such as the elderly and those who are too young to be immunized.
