Physical activity is any movement that increases your heart rate and breathing. Being physically active improves your health and well-being. It has benefits for all ages, including reducing your risk for chronic diseases, improving your sleep, increasing your energy, and improving self-confidence and mental health.

Kingston Gets Active

Kingston Gets Active (KGA) is a community-wide initiative that raises awareness of the benefits of physical activity.

Rural Frontenac, Lennox & Addington (RFLA) Hiking Group

The Rural Frontenac, Lennox & Addington (RFLA) Hiking Group is open to people of all ages who would like to walk on our local hiking trails with the guidance of a Registered Kinesiologist. Follow along on Facebook and Instagram

Walking to Wellness

Walking to Wellness is a free, safe, and social indoor walking program for people of all ages to increase their physical activity. The program is offered at six municipal sites in the KFL&A area in partnership with the City of Kingston, Loyalist Township, and the Town of Greater Napanee. There is no registration or membership required. Walking to Wellness runs from January 8 to April 28, 2024

Strollers, walkers, and wheelchairs are always welcome. Bring a friend or meet new people onsite!
